In the summer of 2024, Nakeyshia was awarded a grant from Destiny’s Light Foundation to support her pursuit of vocational training and certification at the Loving Lotus CNA Training Academy in St. Paul, MN. She demonstrated remarkable commitment and determination, balancing her coursework with a busy schedule while caring for her infant. Her hard work and perseverance paid off when she completed the training and earned her Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
